What’s New at Vasa Park
So many of our clients for so many years have enjoyed
the beauty and splendor of what Vasa Park has to offer.
However, it is our goal as one of Southern California’s
top private parks to continuously improve our location.
Before the picnic season hits in late March, we will
have:
- over
50 new trees
- an
upgraded petting zoo with lots of furry friends
- a
new sports court
- a new
low ropes course suited for kids and adults

Client Spotlight – Innovative Merchant
Innovative Merchant, a Calabasas Based Company is set to hold their annual Company Picnic here at Vasa Park for the fifth year in a row and we are SO thrilled to have them back. Each year Rikke Wilson, Innovative Merchants “Fun Maker”, works hard to make sure all her employees and their families have a relaxing and fun-filled day with delicious food and amazing entertainment. In 2007 nearly 500 employees and family members of all ages enjoyed our 274 foot waterslide and our newest interactive inflatables. For all the fun they have, we love seeing their smiles and enjoy their visit to Vasa Park each year!

Whether it’s a whoopee-cushion or mid meeting “play” time, Larry is always driving business forward with success and a fun attitude.
Lauren Pelissier, Director of Sales
Our hometown girl, who has never met a lollypop she doesn’t like, can be found hiking the Grand Canyon, playing with her big puppy Harmony and little shit-zu Spike and endlessly volunteering her time with her second passion “Camp Harmony”. With Laurens infectious smile that lights up any room, no is NOT an option and anything is possible.
Valeri Fox, Sales Manager
AKA – “V” the Urban Princess. V makes sure the sales department is on top of fashion trends and that we are all “in the know.” Keep your eyes peeled on the streets of downtown LA where you’ll find V bargaining, wheeling and dealing for the best deals on all the top fashion goods with her wrinkled sharpei, Lolo at her side.
Jamie Rose Erickson, Sales Manager
A University of San Diego graduate, Jamie Rose is affectionately known as the office “cackler” with her contagious laugh. You can catch Jamie Rose singing opera style in the office and appropriately has been known to hijack the Karaoke Machine for her own personal entertainment purposes.
Kara Foster, Sales Manager
“Hey Y’all!” Our little southern bell comes straight to us from North Carolina. She’s little, but don’t underestimate her strength! Kara runs marathons like most people take an afternoon stroll. She’s fast, smart and has a warm southern attitude that keeps our office up-beat and full of life.
Aimee Vaughan, Sales Coordinator
Hide your highlighters, calculators and post it’s…Aimee has been known to tackle innocent people to the ground for her quest to organize, manage details and create flawless events. “The future is so bright…you gotta wear shades!” Go Aimee! We couldn’t do it without her!
Romeo Hernandez, Operations Manger
Romeo is much like the stealth jet of operations! Romeo has been known to unload, load and set an event for 5000 in the time it takes most people to say “it’s a wrap!” Romeo takes this “FUN” thing seriously with a smile on his face and a walkie-talkie in his hand!
Tracy Hall, Event Coordinator
Professor of Pop Culture 101, Tracy can be found hob-knobbing with the young Hollywood crowd most non-working evenings! Monday mornings are always colorful with a “who’s who’s” report from the weekend. Let us not forget her sweet smile and attention to details which makes her an event planning STAR on and off the red carpet.
Jessica Landon, Staffing & Operations Manager
How does she get 55 staff to all show up for one event and better yet 150 staff to show up for multiple events EVERY weekend? And she does it with ease and a cool carefree attitude. Who else but Jessica actually thinks it is “just fine” to get calls from Staff at midnight looking for directions. On another note…don’t get caught with Jessica and a cheap bottle of wine because Jessica is our very own company sommelier. FYI…she prefers reds!
